Responsible for strategic project management and claim management between Ministry of Communications, Turkish Railways, Contractor and the Subcontractor, for the High Speed Railways Construction project.

Responsible for driving corporate reputation management as a key component of business strategy in order to be recognized as a responsible company in a controversial industry. These activities include:

• Building strong relationships with priority government stakeholders.
• Advising senior management on government affairs issues and reputation management.
• Develop and implement stakeholder management plans and reputation initiatives with specific government stakeholders to construct and maintain a sustainable dialogue platform.
• Analyze and interpret the government policies on the following issues; Excise Management, EU Directives on Tobacco, Combating Illicit Trade, Government Policies on Leaf Business, Free Trade Agreements and Tobacco Products Exportation and proactively manage the government’s actions through establishing a trust based relationship with the particular stakeholders.
• Provide a lobbying capability to support the delivery of BAT’s corporate messages to relevant stakeholder.
• Help to develop a management interactive tool to optimize the supply chain efficiency and create new export markets.

PRIVATIZATION ADMINISTRATION (An Office of the Prime Ministry) Vice Chairman/ Advisor to Chairman,

Responsible for privatization of Turk Telekom the highest value asset of the Turkish Republic planned to be privatized (total market value exceeding $ 12 billion). Activities included:

• Defining the strategy for a successful “strategic sale” followed with a public offering, establishing a solid regulatory environment to be attractive for the international investors; thus preparing the first telecommunications law since a century.
• Chairman of the Tender Committee ( a committee formed by the telecomm law, consisted of 5 independent members representing relevant government authorities ) activities involved close cooperation with the world financial institutions including Merrill Lynch acting as sales adviser.
• Chairman of the Value Assessment Committee for Turk Telekom and GSM Licenses to be delivered before the privatization; providing all business parameters and coordinating works with financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs Int.
• Counselor to Minister of Economy. (Mr. Işın Çelebi on telecommunications and energy business).
• Board Member of a Special Steel Manufacturing Company.

STATE PLANNING ORGANIZATION (An Agency of the Prime Ministry) ;

Telecommunications and IT Sector Head Analyst;
Responsible for analyzing and providing all economic data for the preparation of “Five Years Developing Plans”, managing investment budget allocations of Turk Telekom and other related state enterprises, exchanging economic parameters with EU, OECD, World Bank, WTO, Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization to build up a strong  international relationship and take financial advantages and benefits to harmonize the Turkish legislation.
Adviser to State Minister (Mr. Rustu Saracoglu) for taking key economic decisions in the field of Telecommunications and Satellite business.
Electronics and Electrical Consumer Durables Sector Analyst;
 Responsible for delivering, advising and counseling peers and Senior Management of the key Government policy directives .

Participated executive meetings of the TT Executive Board.

Provided procurement and sale consultancy for wafer fabrication materials. Clients included; PKM Gas Systems SA (Swiss), Bimel AS (Turkish).
